Kyalami Corner is a 28 000 GLA neighbourhood retail centre located at the heart of the rapidly expanding Kyalami node, well known for its equestrian heritage. The design concept is a contemporary interpretation of this heritage, with bold, flowing architectural forms combined with lush vegetation and original artworks referncing the equine theme. The natural slope of the land and extensive exposure to adjacent roads has been optimised in the design to create two retail levels that both connect to convenient on-grade parking, and enjoying magnificent views across the valley to the north. The placement of the flagship Checkers and Woolworths food anchors at the lower level, Virgin Active gym, hardware and an organic foods deli at the upper level creates a retail power-house, which combines with a variety of comparative and convenience shopping offerings and a wide selection of food & beverage outlets to create a strong community hub. Kyalami Corner has become a magnet for people to shop, meet and enjoy an excellent retail experience in an incredible environment of sophistication and luxury.
